Orocobre is not only Advantage Lithium’s partner at our flagship Argentina asset, Cauchari, it is also our largest single shareholder, owning just over 31% of the company (with a share lock up in place). Orocobre’s CEO, Richard Seville, sits on our Board of Directors, as does Miguel Peral - the geologist who led the drill programs for Orocobre’s Olaroz project, which is now in production. The Olaroz lithium brine production facility lies just 10km from our Cauchari asset.
Our partnership with this remarkable company has resulted in Advantage Lithium having a top tier development play at Cauchari, and a portfolio of exploration assets in the heart of Argentina salars. What gives us an even greater edge over many of our peers is that, through Orocobre, we have access to a wealth of geological knowledge and experience, as well as connections at a community and government level.
